African Mud Cloth

Objective: Students will design and create
an African Mud cloth.

Materials: Brown Butcher Paper, Pencil,
Sharpie pen and

African Patterns and Symbol References

Steps:

Carefully crumple the paper in your hands.

The paper should become soft and supple.

Be careful not to rip the paper.

Spread the paper back out

and start with your design in pencil.
